Can't wait! - Looking forward to hearing the pricing structure and final details of the watches. :)
  • Y2kisaac 3/9/2015 3:33:00 PM
Thank you cnet for doing this! As I don't really have all this free time to watch the entire show, I can just read the most important snippets at a glance!

Apple has said it plans to begin selling the Apple Watch, which starts at $349, in April. But we still don't know how and where Apple will start selling the device, how much the 18-karat gold version will cost, and what types of apps will be offered on the device.

We might also see a refresh of other Apple products, such as MacBooks, Apple TV and possibly even iPads.

Awesome. I love apple live event streams. Hopefully Apple doesn't have a buggy stream as well!

Very excited about the Apple Watch!
  • yashendra2797 3/9/2015 3:34:14 PM
My favorite pre event show is here! Love the humor and chemistry between you guys!
  • Michelle Meyers 3/9/2015 3:36:49 PM
As it has done in the past, Apple will also be live-streaming the event for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV users. You can view the event on second- and third-generation Apple TV devices running software version 6.2 or later. This can be done by clicking on the "Apple Events" channel on the device's main menu.

The event can also be viewed by clicking on this link from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch that's running iOS 6 or later and using the Safari mobile Web browser. Mac and MacBook users on OS X 10.6.8 or later can tune in by clicking on this link using Safari version 5.1.10 or later.

Will Brian Tong be on the air?
  • Michelle Meyers 3/9/2015 3:41:43 PM
No, I'm sorry, he's on vacation.
  • Joseph Hall 3/9/2015 3:41:46 PM
I love watching these events! Whether its Apple, Microsoft, Google, or any other company, I always watch when I can. However, being an Apple fan, I especially enjoy watching these. I also enjoy C|Net's pre show
  • Y3kisaac 3/9/2015 3:42:03 PM
Wonder what the new iPods will look like? Will they have Touch ID?
  • nickk28 3/9/2015 3:42:15 PM
what does everyone think we'll see besides obviously the apple watch and apple pay? rumors suggest deffs not the iPad pro, theres a slight chance we see the retina Air but the lack of component (and software leaks) seems to suggest its not its time yet, unless with that they do what they did with the iPhone iPad and apple watch where they announce it and wait a few months for its release. what does everyone else think?
  • Y2kisaac 3/9/2015 3:44:28 PM
Who else hopes they will have the iPad pro??? I just can't wait for Apple watch!
  • yashendra2797 3/9/2015 3:46:33 PM
@Y3kisaac Why do iPods need TouchID? They can't access cellular and there's no point to having aPay on it...
  • appledude 3/9/2015 3:46:59 PM
Hows the wireless networks at the live event? Are there ever any problems?
  • Michelle Meyers 3/9/2015 3:48:57 PM
@appledude I'm not sure we know just yet...our onsite team is still arriving and getting settled at Yerba Buena. But fingers crossed.
  • Y3kisaac 3/9/2015 3:49:46 PM
@nickk28 I think we will see new iterations of Apple tv and iPod touch and nano what I wish (probs not) is that the rumors are true about an electric car, but just because they hired someone from ford doesn't mean that they are making a car, I mean, they hired a guy from Pepsi because of business experience, not because they were making apple soda.
  • Joseph Hall 3/9/2015 3:49:49 PM
@MichelleMeyers Definitely a new Apple TV. Am looking for a box like that for my TV, and I want the Apple TV, but am leaning towards the Roku 3 since it has more apps and options.
  • khab 3/9/2015 3:50:00 PM
Who wants to bet the edition version of the watch won't cost more than $4000. All these rumors are talking about $10000. That is a joke. I am guessing around $2500-3000 but it might be more but no more than $4000.
  • Gadgetfanboy 3/9/2015 3:50:27 PM
People and images are fascinating. The Apple watch is like the 1st gen Samsung Galaxy Gear o.O but is "Apple"
  • Gadgetfanboy 3/9/2015 3:50:30 PM
I for one am crossing fingers (although most unlikely) that iPad pro will have the stylus etc. being the one more thing =)
  • nihaal419 3/9/2015 3:50:51 PM
They're good, the stream both on Apple's side and on Cnet's side are smooth and rarely have problems.
  • ThisIsTyDell 3/9/2015 3:50:59 PM
Apple TV Stick? Seems like the other companies are going the USB/HDMI Stick route as an option.
  • Jsantos350z 3/9/2015 3:51:03 PM
I've been waiting patiently for the Apple watch, but if they were to announce an iPad Pro as well, I'm pretty sure I would fanboy my way to the hospital... JUST SAYING!
  • lio logo 3/9/2015 3:51:49 PM

  • shmapple 3/9/2015 3:53:56 PM
I hope there is some big surprise other than the watch!
  • chase 3/9/2015 3:54:06 PM
what are some key features everyone is looking for in the apple watch and how will the battery life influence your decision on buying the device ?
  • nitish 3/9/2015 3:54:20 PM
will there be ipod touch released today
  • MDgrfx 3/9/2015 3:54:23 PM
i hope to use the watch instead of the iPhone in my next race!
  • Navi 3/9/2015 3:54:32 PM
Why can't microsoft host there products in the same way.
  • ThisIsTyDell 3/9/2015 3:55:04 PM
If Apple Watch has Shazam then that would be #DOPE.
  • Y3kisaac 3/9/2015 3:55:06 PM
I wonder if Apple will have an essential Apple tv stick as you say. And I wish that the Apple watch edition wouldn't cost so much :( and do you guys think that with the new Apple tv we pill see pippin 2.0? (But better :3)
  • lio logo 3/9/2015 3:55:28 PM
every time people expect more from apple ...
  • Tinny 3/9/2015 3:55:29 PM
    @Navi Because no-one would care
  • JayC 3/9/2015 3:55:31 PM
Are they ever going to make the MBP 13 inch into quadcore?
  • Y3kisaac 3/9/2015 3:55:59 PM
@yashendra2797 because if you have a family like me, it is just nice to have a password from your siblings that they will never be able to obtain
  • Max Buondonno 3/9/2015 3:56:06 PM
Thanks Michelle! I'm gonna try calling in today and see if he answers me. I think he's the coolest guy on CNET ever!! I watch Apple Byte with Brian Tong EVERY SINGLE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, if this helps, I'm only 14. Soooo, if he's as nice as I think he is, he'll answer me!!
  • Gladys 3/9/2015 3:56:14 PM
I use Pebble everyday so I'm curious to know if the apple wach will be worth the extra bucks, how much extra, and wether I would still want to need it
  • Craig 3/9/2015 3:56:21 PM
Hopefully we'll see something to reflect the way Apple use to be innovative. Now that everyone and their brother has a watch out, they will be pulling up from behind. Too bad Apple, you should have been out in front.
  • Navi 3/9/2015 3:56:41 PM
Can't wait to watch the new watch price..
  • llricll 3/9/2015 3:56:50 PM
I want a jumbo apple watch like flavor flav!
  • Michelle Meyers 3/9/2015 3:59:10 PM
@Max Buondonno I was wrong. Brian Tong is on vacation. Sorry bout that. We'll miss him too.
