  • Nokia is the biggest company at MWC, and it has the most to prove, after a 2012 in which its classy Lumia phones didn't sell as well as many had hoped. As Roger said in his preview post, Nokia is expected to unveil a line of more budget-friendly phones today, but I'd love to see a high-end Lumia with a real PureView camera.

  • Nokia stole the show at MWC last year with the insane 808 PureView -- it'd be great if it paired that up with the more accessible Windows Phone system. What would you like to see today?

  • One of my favourite Nokia phones in the last year was the Lumia 620. Great performance, dirt-cheap price. More like this please, Nokia. reviews.cnet.com

  • I don't know if low-budget phones is what Nokia needs to be successful. iPhones aren't cheap and look how successful they were... They set a new industry standard for price of smart phones. What is the potential market for low-budget smart phones?
    by Foodle
  • If Nokia has the Lumia Pureview, it shouldn't be presented at MWC. It deserves its own event. Pricing will be extremely crucial for Lumia 720 and 520. The 620 has set a standard for mid range phone. Up to Nokia to beat themselves first.

  • You know, three of the letters in 'Barcelona' are also in 'Android'. Coincidence?! Yes.

  • He's greeted by a lot of applause.
    by Roger Cheng
  • In 2012, Nokia made a very bold statement when we introduced the Lumia 920, Elop says.
    by Roger Cheng
  • Our ambition was warmly received, he says. People embraced it as the Windows Phone flagship, he says.
    by Roger Cheng
  • Elop is looking dapper in a grey suit with pale blue tie. An MWC fashion slam-dunk.
    by Luke Westaway
  • Nevermind Microsoft considered the Windows Phone 8X its flagship.
    by Roger Cheng
  • While some competitors have tried to replicate our innovation, we've taken a broader approach. We're moving to more price points without losing features in the high-end device, he says.
    by Roger Cheng
  • Elop mentioned the Lumia 820 and low-budget 620. The reaction has been good, he says.
    by Roger Cheng
  • A little shout-out to its low-end Asha product line.
    by Roger Cheng
