Do you think this year is the year when it make sense for Apple to merge iOS and OSX and make devices convertible to mobile and laptop mode... something similar to what Ubuntu linux did with "Ubuntu for Linux".
  • carlosdcf 6/10/2013 4:17:22 PM
Do you think that the expectations for Apple is too high? People are expecting a big announcement - but is a refresh of an ios really going to make a huge impact?
  • Khalod 6/10/2013 4:17:24 PM

I'm here in Jakarta, Indonesia waiting for iOS 7..yeah.... it's 11:17 PM now
  • Obrien 6/10/2013 4:18:04 PM
Financial situation of HTC isn't my concern, I care for design and usability and although when iPhone and other Apple stuff came out it was mind blowing but not exciting lately and there is lack of improvement, but I do hope they get it right now!
  • Jose C Perez 6/10/2013 4:18:13 PM
I'm in Houston and I'm waiting eagerly for the big announcement. I hope they knock my socks off this time because as an investor my portfolio needs a little more action from Apple.
  • Rickardin Richard 6/10/2013 4:18:21 PM
I feel that apple hasn't been innovate since the 4s and is indeed boring. Iphone users are just brainwashed to love their phones and boast about "new" features that have been in the industry for years... iOS 7 needs to be mind-blowing as well as the next iphone. Otherwise the HTC one is the ONE lol
  • Mrotis 6/10/2013 4:18:25 PM

@RickardinRichard Brainwashed? Seriously? If someone likes iOS, you think they're brainwashed? You seem to like the HTC One. Are you not brainwashed to like it? To each their own, man.
  • kush 6/10/2013 4:19:52 PM
Watching this on projector with my cousins
  • Joshia Setiawan 6/10/2013 4:20:01 PM
I just hope that we will see at least a new killer feature. iOS 6 looked like a minor update to me.

  • Scott Stein 6/10/2013 4:21:37 PM
By the way, Molly/Brian/Donald, I did not run in. I heard that. But I didn't look back, either.

Lots of the same people I'd normally see at E3 are here -- but we're all following the Xbox press conference via social media.
  • Vinesh 6/10/2013 4:23:23 PM
I still miss Steve Jobs. He is un matchable
  • Shawn 6/10/2013 4:23:40 PM
@RickardinRichard I agree with the other guy, just because people like apple doesn't mean their brainwashed. You seem like you could be brainwashed to like Android too much. Everyone likes their own thing and you can't judge other people based on what they like. Why are you even watching if you like android so much?
  • Tony Ngache 6/10/2013 4:23:51 PM
It's going down here in SA. Developers flocking in numbers. The event seems more spicing than I anticipated!

Very seldom do I have Siri ask me if I want to search the web. Usually this happens if I garble my words and Siri misunderstands. Otherwise Siri autosearches if it can't come up with the answer on its own.
  • Ashley Martinez 6/10/2013 4:24:25 PM
Really big fan of CNET and really thankful you guys are doing this! Question: From a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest how affective do you think ios7 will be for Apple?
  • AlexLawson13 6/10/2013 4:24:34 PM
I feel like a flat design for iOS 7 icons would be backwards of what people want, I like my fancy icons. The only advantage to it would be that it would use less processor speed. Anyone else agree?
  • Colin Davies 6/10/2013 4:24:40 PM
My first time watch it. I wanna see if they really revamp the UI. Basic they need it if wanna take down Samsung and Galaxy line. I think lose there touch when Steve Jobs pass away. Google saw at and u know the rest
