Hello from Ghana

Been going back and forth with a pen pal regarding the Galaxy 4 rumors - especially the eye-scrolling technology supposedly in there. There was a story out earlier in the week debunking that one. But I still like the chances of it happening..or maybe I'm just hoping. Would be fun.
Note that last year's Samsung superphone, the S3, also had some limited "eye recognition" functionality (the screen wouldn't fade out if you were looking at it). But that sapped the battery life, apparently.
Yepitsmememe3/14/2013 10:07:34 PM
Any rumor of an update to Jelly Bean for the S4?
Possibilities3/14/2013 10:07:57 PM
To be honest, what is Samsung gonna do with an eight-core, most companies have not untapped the maximum potential of a quad core processor.
an aluminium casing would be a dream come true. We all know the inside is going to be the usual excellence
CalgarianTechie3/14/2013 10:08:50 PM
Hi from Calgary...I hope the body of the phone is light especially if the screen is bigger than the S3
john.falcone3/14/2013 10:09:01 PM
Jelly Bean is the current Android OS. I'm guessing you won't see an update until the Google IO event in May (just a couple of months away).
John3/14/2013 10:09:07 PM
The future of cell phones will be expandable and collapsible screens. I want a big screen, but I don't want to hold a brick up to my ear. Make a phone that can be small and comfortable next to my ear, but can then expand its screen when I want a big screen to look at.
Fran3/14/2013 10:09:11 PM
Hey guys, do you think this thing is going to have the latest android software(unreleased)? Do you think they would tease the new android and release it after the google io?
Samson Osztreicher3/14/2013 10:09:22 PM
Hello from Melbourne, Australia :) Have a Note 2 how far apart will the S 4 be from it?
jb137603/14/2013 10:09:39 PM
Hey guys. Love the site. Do you think Samsung has any tricks left up its sleeves after two leaks? Also with the battery spec leak, do you have any concerns about the size of the battery?(Especially with the hover-touch feature?)
john.falcone3/14/2013 10:09:52 PM
Don't be surprised if the S4 looks and feels a lot like the Note 2. Probably not as big, though.
Caspid3/14/2013 10:09:54 PM
Why are phones getting bigger and bigger? It's like technology is going in reverse.
ekedum3/14/2013 10:10:05 PM
good morning from Philippines! so pumped for the unveiling. thanks CNET.
Paul Sloan3/14/2013 10:10:11 PM
Yes, battery life is key. I just came back from SXSW, and the lines for outlets were longer than the lines for sessions and panels.
john.falcone3/14/2013 10:10:36 PM
Battery life is always a concern. That's why the Motorola Droid Maxx and Maxx HD were so distinctive -- they truly offered all-day battery life.
usfkawi863/14/2013 10:11:21 PM
i agree with the camera statements. The megapixels will not mean a thing if the quality is not that great.
