Hi everyone! Excited for the Galaxy Note 3 announcement
Techy9/4/2013 4:14:37 PM
I think it's probably safe to say that the Note 3 will have a 13MP camera, and an octa-core proccesor for the international model.
Kent German9/4/2013 4:17:10 PM
This has been a busy day from IFA. Sony and Asus held press conferences just a couple of hours ago. Samsung will host another press conference tomorrow (Thursday) at 11 a.m. Berlin time. CNET will be there to live blog so please join us (if you're awake).

Looking forward for the Smart Watch...
Sean Graflund9/4/2013 4:23:38 PM
The Smartwatch talk is cool.. I was a Pebble backer.. and while I like it.. there are limitations.. I have a hard time leaving the house without it now though.. keeping the phone in the pocket when driving, or busy... just looking at the watch for text messages, phone calls, music, etc... that's why. I'm excited to see the Samsung Gear and Note 3.. I might pick up both.
Kent German9/4/2013 4:24:35 PM
Once the team in Berlin enters the room and get online, they'll take over.
Vic9/4/2013 4:24:44 PM
4k recording would be awesome on the Note 3.
Kent German9/4/2013 4:25:57 PM
@Vic: The Acer Liquid S2, which was announced yesterday, does shoot 4K video

GNote3, Definitely the smartphone main event for 2013
Luke Westaway9/4/2013 4:32:33 PM
Samsung has opted for its usual musical score -- booming, heartfelt orchestra music. We feel suitably moved.
Luke Westaway9/4/2013 4:32:54 PM
The venue is absolutely enormous -- Samsung clearly has cash to splash on events like these. We'll get a behind-the-scenes picture for you asap.
Ryan9/4/2013 4:33:37 PM
How long u think before Verizon gets the note 3
Kent German9/4/2013 4:34:34 PM
@Ryan: We'll have to see what Samsung says. Sometimes they reveal a new device without giving exact details on carrier availability.
Luke Westaway9/4/2013 4:35:07 PM
The lighting is a deep blue, classic Samsung-logo shade. The stadium is filling up quickly -- we have 25 minutes until go time!
josh.miller9/4/2013 4:37:20 PM
Look at the size of the stadium!
Luke Westaway9/4/2013 4:37:36 PM
The Galaxy Note 3 is hotly anticipated to feature here -- what features do you want to see in the next Note?
Musaddaq Ch9/4/2013 4:39:07 PM
hey Jason you have a cool voice
Shashank9/4/2013 4:42:26 PM
Finger print scanner!!! Top of my list
Kent German9/4/2013 4:44:12 PM
@Shashank: Fingerprint scanners do appear to a hot feature that a lot of people want right now
dancingdiva9/4/2013 4:47:55 PM
I want some pie - key lime pie!
Kent German9/4/2013 4:49:44 PM
@dancingdiva: Remember, Key Lime Pie is now known as KitKat
yash9/4/2013 4:50:46 PM
some more exciting featues for the SPen will be great
Kent German9/4/2013 4:51:05 PM
Jessica Dolcourt9/4/2013 4:53:43 PM
@Yash, Samsung seems to incrementally give the S Pen more features, so I'm confident we'll see some new tricks today.
Seth Gorton9/4/2013 4:54:01 PM
I want the fingerprint scanner....being IT Hardware Coordinator in the Health Care field, this would help with complying with HIPAA regulations.
Simon Hansen9/4/2013 4:54:13 PM
What should i buy? The LG G2 or the Note 3?
Jessica Dolcourt9/4/2013 4:55:01 PM
Fingerprint scanners *could* work, but they have to make sure that the scanners actually adequately capture your entire fingerprint in one go -- that's meaty fingers in addition to the slim ones. Current versions are pretty hit or miss.
Luke Westaway9/4/2013 4:55:18 PM
Kent German9/4/2013 4:55:51 PM
@Simon: Hard to say until we know the Note 3 details. Here's Lynn La's G2 First Take in the meantime.
