    More and more smartphones are introducing radical power-saving modes, that shut down your phone's features almost entirely, in a bid to extend battery life. Great idea, and good to see Samsung hasn't stopped working on the concept.

    The curved portion of the display will be functional, rather than purely aesthetic. It's got access to tools, and can be personalised, and shows notifications.

    Samsung is calling the curved portion 'Edge Screen.' I love the idea of keeping video playback buttons on the curved edge while you're watching TV or movies.
