The four people on the stage are playing the game together, moving through various puzzles using each character's special ability (each able to either move faster, fly, move heavy objects,
    and more)

LBP 3 is "Fun for the whole family" -- a term that the Xbox event this morning didn't really go near.

From Software makes the impossibly difficult Demon Souls and Dark Souls games.
  • Jeff Bakalar 6/10/2014 1:31:23 AM
This is likely the "Project Beast" game that leaked out a week ago.
  • dan.ackerman 6/10/2014 1:31:38 AM
Looks like "The Order: Part II"

Now, he's announcing a completely new video game, "Bloodborne," which had a particularly gruesome intro with a man and a scythe.
  • Ian Sherr 6/10/2014 1:32:43 AM
    It arrives in 2015.
  • John Falcone 6/10/2014 1:32:45 AM

A little family fun to Bloodborne. Nice change of pace ;)

Now we get to see more about "FarCry 4" from Ubisoft. If you keep track, Ubisoft likes to show us new info about its games at Sony's pressers. We learned about the pirate ship mode of "Assassin's Creed III" during Sony's presser a couple years ago. And typically, they get the more fun stuff -- probably because Sony's usually the last presser of the day.

They have a very obvious business relationship. Extra gameplay in Watch Dogs, AC4, and maybe Far Cry 4.

Anyway, now we end up with FarCry 4, and we're seeing live gameplay video. The game's played from a first-person point of view (as opposed to Assassin's Creed, which is played in the third-person). Our protagonist, Ajay Ghale, is moving his way through a small outpost, killing lots of bad looking men before getting into a small car and going on a chase.
  • Jeff Bakalar 6/10/2014 1:36:38 AM
The gameplay looks a lot like Far Cry 3. Not as much of a departure like we saw in FC2 to FC3.

Finally, some ass-kicking elephants in a game!!
  • Ian Sherr 6/10/2014 1:38:32 AM
Now, a second player has joined playing the character "Hurk." They're cooperatively working through the level, taking down enemies and even freeing an elephant so it can wreak havoc on the bad guys.

  • Ian Sherr 6/10/2014 1:39:27 AM
This is a rather powerful elephant--it just attacked a car and blew it up.
  • Josh Miller 6/10/2014 1:39:38 AM
  • dan.ackerman 6/10/2014 1:39:46 AM
Hopefully there's no actual elephant hunting in the game (there was a ton of disturbing animal hunting in FC3).
