This is the MMO version of the very, very popular Elder Scrolls games.

Getting a look at some of the scenery, which includes some nice Nord houses, giants, and of course some ships.

There's been some video of this before, but we're seeing new stuff like big group battles against things. Comes in Spring 2014, Bethesda says.
  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:38:09 AM
Beta for PS4 users, who are apparently getting it first. (not sure if the Spring date is the beta, or the full release date here)

  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:39:03 AM
Next up we're seeing a cutscene with what looks very post-apocalyptic. Mad Max'y even.

  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:39:45 AM
    Mad Max it is.

Warner Bros. Interactive and Avalanche Studios teamed up on it. PS users get access to a special toolkit, apparently.

  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:40:42 AM
Okay, Jack Tretton back -- hopefully with a price tag.
  • Lynn La 6/11/2013 2:41:00 AM
  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:41:27 AM
Wrapping up: 140 games available in the first year of PS4 (including indies).
  • Lynn La 6/11/2013 2:41:32 AM
  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:41:49 AM
Tretton says it supports used games, and won't impose any restrictions on games, which gets an enormous applause. Deafening even.

  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:42:24 AM
"I guess that's a good thing," Tretton says. "When a gamer buys a PS4 disc. They have the rights to use that disc." They can sell it to another person, lend it to a friend, or keep it forever, Tretton says.
  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:42:44 AM
That's for disc game sales. Lots and lots of applause here, at the expense of Microsoft's recently-announced games DRM program.
  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:42:55 AM
Tretton adds that games don't need to be connected online to play.

  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:43:29 AM
"It won't stop working if you haven't authenticated within 24 hours," Tretton goes on.
  • Lynn La 6/11/2013 2:44:24 AM
  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:44:26 AM
Tretton turns to the network. Notes the cross game voice chat, playing games while downloading them, and to transition a real world friend into a virtual friend.

  • Josh Lowensohn 6/11/2013 2:44:48 AM
Will existing PS+ accounts move over to PS4? Yes they will, Tretton says.

PS+ users get PS3, PS4 and PSVita under the same umbrella of the monthly and annual subscription.
